The idea on this garment was inspired by the colorful season brought by spring. The color that I used was so vibrant and alive to embrace the essence of spring. The design on the top was so structured and has hips enhancer to exaggerate the hips that really comes great together with the flowy floral-skirt.

The story was totally inspired by "Noir Princesse" who is about to scape the sad bite of reality of being a black princess from the dark side of her world and to have a better and simple life out there.
The look was sort of gothic style but I added a vibrant floral-print hips enhancer to give some life to the gloomy effect of the gown. I also made a coat with flowy silhouette as a coat to hide the princess' identity.

“Le Grec antique a inspiré des vêtements-haute couture”

Goddess-inspired gown which is flowy, elegant, and feels like heaven-touched totally inspired by Demeter-goddess of earth and agriculture. The garment was white-based color with the fading effects of the green which symbolizes earth. The white color which symbolizes purity should be considered to capture the style of wearing in ancient Greece. The garment has unique cut yet silky and beautifully interpreted into goddess attire, and really make one who will wear it feels like a goddess from ancient times in modern look.

From my latest collection splendid wings of beauty by nature's print, totally inspired by a butterfly resting on a flower and beautifully translated into elegant and unique work-of-art garments. This design presentation's visual techniques were done in watercolor rendering in 3 dimensional effects.

When I first saw the photo where did I derived my inspiration, I don’t need to change anything because the shape of the flower is what exactly I’m looking for on the skirt, and the position of the butterfly was just perfect for the top part of the garment. Though the color of the butterfly was gloomy, but it really worked together on the live vivid colors of the flower.

Every time I work on my fashion design I always want it to be very artistic because I'm not just doing fashion designing but I also want it to be a form of art-painting. I'm always excited to do some experiment and formulating my fashion designs for my new collection. Though it takes a lot of time to do one but when I finish it, it really makes me smile because I've done what I really want to do which is really satisfyingly worth it.

I didn't even notice that my table was too messy, my stuff are all-over the place but that's what an art is all about, it is the "colorful moment" where you have spent your time to express your ideas and thoughts beyond arts.

"did you know that this fashion design presentation's visual techniques was done in watercolor rendering in 3d effect. watercolor rendering is quite difficult specially when your arts was really detailed. when adding visual techniques to every paintings such as 3d effect, you don't have to layout your design using pens or any bold markers in rendering the outer layout of the your arts like the outline of the model or so. constructing your design using your standard pencil in a beautiful sheet of paper is just enough, and it is important to focus on color visualization such as proper shading, contrasting and boldness etc."

Inspired by butterfly sitting on a flower

An orange butterfly sitting on a pretty pink flower was totally inspired me to design this flowy dress for spring-summer collection "splendid wings of beauty."

This work-of-art design was done in watercolor rendering 3-d effects for its visual techniques. It takes an hour to color it up, making sure that I truly capture the right colors as well as the effect on the pattern of the butterfly and the flower.

PEACOCK BUTTERFLY

The peacock butterfly is a common butterfly from temperate parts of Europe (including Britain) and Asia. This butterfly makes a hissing sound when it is alarmed (usually upon seeing a bird); it makes the sound by rubbing its wings together. The wings are brownish-purple with a bright eye-spot on each wing (the wings look a bit like an owl's face). The undersides of the wings are mottled grayish-brown.

Water-Color Rendering in 3-D Effect

These designs are sample of garments inspired by a butterfly resting on a flower, from my latest collection reserved Splendid Wings of Beauty. I literally translated my inspiration into elegant dresses where the butterfly is really perfect for the top-part of the garment and the skirt was derived from a flower. No doubt those colors really come great together because of the natural color pallet of the nature. This collection is my favorite so far from my fashion gallery, colors are really vivid and alive, and the silhouettes are extremely unique yet beautifully derived from natural cuts and patterns of butterfly resting on a flower.
I'm still working on this work-of-art collection for spring-summer, and I still have 30 more designs to work with. I'm so excited for my next collections which will be follow soon, so I should surpass this collection and come-up with fresh and unique designs.

More designs from my spring-summer collection which was inspired by butterfly resting on a flower. As you can see my inspiration, I really translated them into beautiful elegant garments which are flowy and really unique. Some piece have butterfly cut on the top and floral-cut on the skirt. The vivid colors of the butterfly with its unique pattern and the natural color of the flowers really make this collection unique and fabulously memorable. Perhaps I may the first designer who combined the nature's print of a butterfly resting on a flower which was beautifully translated into garments. I've seen garments which were just inspired by floral designs, and some garments with butterfly designs. After gathering my inspiration and looking for possible designs that may have similar inspiration with my collection, I can say that my splendid wings of beauty will be truly the first and the unique collection with nature's print on it combining the butterfly and flower on a single piece.

This fashion illustration was done in water-color rendering in 3-dimensional effect, presented on a runway show. Beauties were inspired by Rapunzel which have colorful flowers on her tangled hair. Shoes are also incorporated with flowers and butterflies. Photo edited by TFL using Photo Scape.

It takes a lot of research and passion to produce a fashion design like so. When making a collection be sure that you have inspiration for you to derive ideas and to be inspired by what you want in your fashion designs. Having an inspiration on your designs will make your design cohesive and tell some kind of story. Just do a research to gather these things that inspired you in making your own collection, and before laying out your design in a final sketch do an experimental sketches on a scratch and I called it "formulating a design." Through formulating a design, perhaps you are looking for the right shapes and cuts for your garments and combing all vivid colors for the right design. Having formulated your designs you are now ready to lay them down on a final sketch. One of my technique in producing a good quality of design is to be happy and inspired doing fashion designing otherwise you will be unproductive and your work will be unsatisfactorily laid out. Be creative and be inspired, as one day your in or out through this lucrative career.

A glimpse on my latest collection "Natures Print (Splendid Wings of Beauty)" I'm currently working on this amazing collection where I was truly inspired by butterfly resting on a flower.

Some of the garments really captured the essence of the butterfly "to fly freely" which is translated into flowy dresses. I also included floral designs with the butterfly on it to translate a butterfly resting on a flower. Floral dresses and butterfly-printed dresses are always popular during spring-summer collection. What makes this collection very interesting and unique is that some pieces are floral-cut on the bottom and butterfly-cut on the top. Like my "Great Catch" collection, again, on this collection the colors are vivid and really alive because of the natural-color palette which I derived from the colors of the butterfly and flowers.

The look of the models were derived from the movie Tangle (Rapunzel), I was really inspired on her hair because of the flowers that are busy on her hair, makes her beauty glowing and it is amazingly gorgeous. Stiletto are also incorporated with flowers, and some have butterflies on it.

The whole collection was consisted of 45 different designs from dresses to gowns, designed by Tristan Licud, reserved for spring-summer collection.

Inspired by butterfly and translated into colorful flowy dress. "To fly freely" was the message that I associated in this particular collection which was glamorously translated through the movement of the fabric. Some of the designs have butterfly cuts on the top with floral-cut on the bottom imitating a butterfly rested on a flower. Stones and crystals are also incorporated to some pieces to give a shiny-shimmery effect to the garments. My design in the stiletto is also incorporated with floral designs and butterfly.
The look of the model was totally inspired by the Disney movie Tangle (Rapunzel). When I first saw the tangled hair of Rapunzel which have flowers on it, it give me an idea to create this look that really fits this collection.

I believe that talent is really born in each one of us; it is up to you on how you recognize, use ,and develop your talent, through this talent great fashion designers are made.

Perhaps I am one of those blessed person who have wonderful talent, and it is a gift by God. I truly recognized my talent knowing that I was born as an artist. I used my skills in art in the field of designing; because I want my work of arts to be use by people which have aesthetic, functions, and durability. I will develop this talent so I’ll become a great fashion designer. When I heard that fashion is really in demand nowadays, I was inspired to take up fashion because I love fashion.

Fashion designing is one of my dream professions next to architecture. At some point fashion designing and architecture have similarities, and that is when your ideas or designs will become creations that can be use by people which are beautiful, functional and durable. My background in architecture was really useful; I even developed my skills in designing garments. I also set my own standard in presenting fashion designs. My presentation was really in full detailed and I also apply visual techniques in to the drawings. Like in architecture, all lines and shapes have a meaning and what you see in the presentation is the actual view of the garments. So my formats in presenting my design are really realistic not like the usual ways which were abstract designs. My models are in certain scale, the garments were really detailed and I also incorporated the style of the shoes that will match the outfit. All of my designs that I'm working right now were in water color rendering. As of now I already made four different collections which have certain inspiration, from ready -to-wear to haute couture even avant-garde design. Each collection contains up to 60 different designs, each page has 6 designs making 10 pages in each collection. All of these collections are part of my portfolio and it will be reserved until the day that I'll be working as fashion designer.

The main goal of this blog was to attract fashion houses, fashion editors, even fashion designers who are looking for talented and gifted aspiring fashion designer. There's a lot of aspiring designers who really want to enter the world of fashion nowadays, but my question is: do they really have the talent on creating designs? Fashion designing is not just drawing or other art stuff, it is designing and when you say designing you should come up with a concept and always consider the trinity of fashion designing which are aesthetic, durability and functions. A fashion designer should also come up with certain inspiration that he/she might use in creating his/her collection to be able to make his/her collection a unique masterpiece. I knew that in the field of fashion designing competition was really tough, there's allot of fashion genius in the industry like John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Dolce and Gabbana, and many more and it was their talent that makes them famous and genius fashion designer. So I believed that my talent will make me successful in fashion industry and perhaps one day I'll become famous fashion designer, all I have to do is to believe in my self that I can make it and I'll seek God's help in leading me to the top.
